tethering

Im using a Fujifilm XT4 and an M1 MacBook Pro ( 2020) but I can't for the life of me get any tethering when using Capture 1.

    If using the free Express version tethering is not available.

    Otherwise it may be a question of setting the correct connection type in the camera. For full tethering C1 needs to take control. If the Mac connects to the camera as a Storage device (for example) that would prevent C1 from obtaining full access for tethering.

    Have you previously has the camera tethered or is this a first attempt?

    In the Preferences under the "Capture" tab there is a section to control which manufacturers are to be enabled for tethering. You may want to check that as well.
