Additional export tokens
Hi,
It would be great to have additional export tokens for the file format (of the exported image) not the original format (that I know exists), ICC-Profile (of the exported not the original image), scaling (such as 3000px, etc.) and others.
Background of my ask is, that I want do use export tokens that create folders with names as precise as possible regarding their content. This would allow me to customize my workflow even further.
Ex: I'd like to have 2 different folders for let's say JPGs 3000px landscape, 90% quality but one contains RGB and the other sRGB images.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Marco

Marco,
Name the Export recipes according to what they do and how you want to name the folders. Then use the Recipe Name token.

Hi,
thanks for your comment. This is what I already do now. However, in my opinion my suggestion would give me much more flexibility and I guess that's the main purpose of tokens otherwise - simply spoken - you'd just need one token that uses the recipe name.
Ultimately, it's the question whether you want to have tons of recipes with every possible combination of settings you need to have as output or have a very limited set of recipes where output settings such as file format, ICC profile, size, JPEG quality, etc can vary and you decide "on the fly" but is reflected in the output folder name. For my part, I'd prefer the second option.

Marco,
I think most people have relatively few regularly used basic export/output requirements and would find time savings (and possibly error reduction) using individual dedicated recipes for all outputs - or most of them.
There will always be exceptions, of course.
There is, of course, nothing to stop people creating on-the-fly naming if they wish to do so. Whether the use of tokens for that would be significantly quicker than adding text I'm not sure.
But now I know that you are aware of the options as they exist and still feel things could be enhanced we can leave it to the C1 team to decide how to approach your suggestion.
