how to activate Capture One Pro 21 after trail

My situation: Just bought a capture one pro 21 license. Downloaded the software. Installed it on my MacBook Pro 2020 (M1 chip). When prompted, chose to replace the existing trial edition with the same name. Trial period not over yet. 

Question: How to I activate the new license.

    The difference between Capture One versions is 100% the license code used.   To change to the paid version launch Capture One 21.  Select Capture One 21 -> License... in the menu bar.  Click the Deactivate button.   That removes the trial license code.  I think Capture One will quit.  Re launch Capture One and enter the new license code you received when you purchased  the pro license.
