Version 14.4: Still no hardware acceleration under macOS 10.15.7! No new Canon RF lens profiles!
Version 14.4: A never ending story? Again no hardware acceleration under macOS 10.15.7! No new Canon RF lens profiles!
I updated to version 14.4 - and of course I was curious if the hardware acceleration on my iMac under macOS 10.15.7 now works again. What was to be feared, it does not work! - Could I really expect anything else from a company that does a lot to ignore legitimate user expectations for bug fixes? And it continues to do so legitimized by a CEO Rafael Orta who promises the blue sky in interviews and makes very little of it a reality.
In Capture One 13.x the hardware acceleration worked, then with version 14.0 it was no longer possible to activate it, with 14.1 this was fortunately fixed. Since 14.2, however, it can no longer be activated. Your developers know exactly how to fix the problem, but with your brazen and impudent ignorance, priorities continue to be set in such a way that even the fixing of this bug, which is known to you, continues to be put on the back burner. This behavior amounts to a provocative and impudent action against us customers.
Even the very frequently requested Canon RF lens profiles were again not served!
Please tell me why this thread was opened. As it turns out, it has become pointless, because the wishes of your customers remain partly unfulfilled for years. Shame on you!
Since I appreciate the concept of Capture One Pro software very much, it is no longer acceptable for me if my professional image processing is decisively impaired by missing lens profiles and annoying bugs, among other things.
