V14.4 opens import dialogue when starting

After I updated to v14.4, each time I launch C1 it begins by opening the Import Images dialogue box, with the Import From choice greyed out. I have no memory card or USB plugged in.  Its easy enough to deal with, I just hit "cancel" and C1 is back to normal.  Never had this happen before in v13.x  

I can't seem to find any options choice or other toggle to change this.

    A bit more information.  When C1 starts and the Import Images dialogue box opens, the panel "Import From" is always greyed out and you can't change anything.  If I cancel the Import window, then choose "Import Images" from the File menu and choose the same folder as when it was greyed out, this time it works.
