After update to version 14.4.0.101 imported RAW files look blurred

After update to version 14.4.0.101 imported RAW files look like seen through a milky glass. At first I worried that my brand new camera (Fujifilm GFX100s) might have an issue. But when I import the same RAW files to Adobe Lightroom, they are crystal clear.

    Could be the old on-going OpenCL display issue.
    Try turning hardware acceleration off in preferences.

    Thanks for the idea, but changing this preference did not make a difference.
