Activation is not possible because the activation profile is incorrect

Hello,

due to the system change Sony A77 to Sony A7R "Capture One 12" no longer opened the RAW files.
The new version "Capture One 21" trial installed so far everything is fine.
Now I have the problem, when I enter the license code the following info appears:

"Activation is not possible because the activation profile is incorrect".

Can you please advise what I am doing wrong.

    Peter,

    Activation of what?  

    You have a license for V12 and a Trial activation for V21? 

    Have you also purchased a non-trial license for V21?

    If so you may need to de-activate the Trial license and then activate the new V21 license the next time you open C1. 

    If you have a new V21 license but wish to top open V12 for some reason you need to activate V12 using the V21 license.

    I have assumed you do NOT have a subscription license.
