Won't Open

Just downloaded Capture One 21 purchased from Amazon on a brand new Mac Book using Big Sur in its most recent update.  Double click on icon and nothing happens:  no message, no open, no nothing.  Dowloaded program, put in key card number.  And the damn thing won't open.

    First thing I'd try is downloading again, as something might have gotten corrupted.

    Question: did the file have a disk image icon or are you double-clicking on a Capture One icon?

    Are you saying that Amazon are selling Capture One or that a retailer, using Amazon Marketplace, are offering you a chance to send them some funds?

    If the latter, who is the retailer?

    For what it is worth this is the first time I have heard of anyone buying a computing device with Capture One pre-installed  from any source, let alone Amazon.

     

    Maybe I have missed something.

    Perhaps "key-card" contains a Capture One registration key. That doesn't explain why the downloaded software doesn't launch.

    Hi Marco,

    I see that Amazon, at least in the US market, still seems to be selling C1 V11. At the same price as V21.

    I wonder if that is a genuine deal of some sort authorized by Capture One??
