Photo references in Albums
I've seen a number of posts re older versions of Capture One, but nothing recent. Is there a way to understand what albums/collections are referencing a photo? I've moved a lot of photos into the library/catalog of Capture One and lost control of import at some time. It is now hard to tidy things up as I can't see whether a photo belongs to any album/collection and if it does, is it in one, two, three albums?
Any way of getting this information would be very useful. Even if it is a one-time report generating query of some sort. I'd have at least a baseline to work from.
Capture One 21 Pro build 14.4.0.135 on a Mac
Thank you

It would be very useful, indeed, and deserves submitting a request to the Capture One staff.

I don't know if this will help your situation or not, but here's a discussion with a script solution for finding which collection a photo is in. It might answer the question.

A script solution? For a so-called DAM, to find what real DAMs can find since ages? Years ago I asked C1's support about how to find out in which albums a photo is used. They were literally incapable to understand the question - so, how could they program it if they have a completely other concept or non-concept about DAMs than what I want from a helping app to organize images?
I gave up hope that C1 will ever come to terms with a DAM worth to talk about. Stitching panoramas is soooo much more important.

Upvoting might help bring this to C1 product manager's attention. Maybe. I will put this in as a feature request.
Agree with you Joachim, that there seems to be a lack of focus in re the features chosen for implementation. On the other hand, maybe the app is aimed at a different audience now and panorama stitching sells better than "migrate over from Lightroom and feel at home"

Thanks, Tom
I will check if that script still works for Big Sur
