White Balance and Tint Values
I use Capture One 20 Pro version 13.1.4.15 with Nikon cameras and software. I have the latest version of Nikon NX Studio which apparently is supposed to show the correct value of white balance and tint since it's Nikon software reading a Nikon RAW file. At least that's what Nikon advertises and has said in webinars. I'm also sure Capture One also reads a Nikon RAW file properly.
But, comparing an identical image, NX Studio reports a WB Kelvin value of 2500 and a Tint of 8.73, while CO 20 reports a WB Kelvin value of 2344 and a Tint of -42.8.
Can someone explain why there's a difference in values? It could be that different software might use a different scale for Tint, but Kelvin should be Kelvin. Is that correct?
Thank you.
Garry
