Do you mean you cannot import if the card is in the camera and the camera is connected to the computer?

In that situation can the computer see the card in the camera?

What happens if you remove the card and use a card reader?

Which Fuji camera and are they regular RAF files or, perhaps,  a specialized variant of a RAF?

So the images show up in the Import process Browser but when you select the ones you want and activate the import nothing happens?

    No on-screen messages?

Are you using the option to check for duplicates?

If you have copied the files from the memory card to a system disc location can you import them from there?

If you are using a catalog, have you tried (as an experiment and IF you have already copied from card to disc) opening a Session and then use the Libray tool to navigate to the folder with the images via the "System Folders" function so see if C1 will allow access that way?
