Process tool missing from trial version?

Which release of C1 have you used for the trial? 14.3 or 14.4?

Also, is the trial installation licensed as a "Pro" version or an "Express" version?

It's Capture One 21 Pro (Trial)  Ver. 14.3.1.10

Perhaps the trial version does not include that functionality, although it's a bit puzzling why it would be left out.

The trial version, as far as I know, can be activated in any commercial variant mode.

If one should choose one of the free "Express" modes then it would offer the functionality of the "Express" version and that does not, as far as I know, include Output Recipes.

Now I will qualify that by saying that Express licenses do not activate Output Processing before V14.4 and I assume that same is true after V14.4. But it may not be the same.

If you have the application set up with an "Express" trial I would suggest that you head to your account and disable the existing activation. Then restart C1 and re-activate in one of the "Pro" modes.

You will need 14.4 if you want to add back the pre-14.3 functionality using the same icons and tools.

Whether you really need to do that will depend on your preferred process flow and the need to stick with it.

The "About" information on the software states that it is Capture One 21 Pro (Trial)  Ver. 14.3.1.10.

I'm not sure why any tools would be eliminated in a trial version since the purpose of offering a trial is to allow a potential customer to experience ALL of the capabilities of the software for a limited time.

I know it's possible to remove a tool from the toolbar, and perhaps I did that inadvertently.  But when I try to add the Process Tool back to the tool bar, it does not appear in the list of available tools.

I'm primarily interested in the ability to crop to a specific dimension as part of the export process, and it seems that the crop function is only available through the Process Tool.

The "About" information on the software states that it is Capture One 21 Pro (Trial)  Ver. 14.3.1.10.

Re-download the code. Current version is 14.4.  The process tab went away in 14.3, replaced by the Export window. Capture One heard the outrage from users and added an export tab back in 14.4. It may not show up by default in 14.4.  Right click on the tool tab bar and select "Add Tool Tab" if necessary to get it back.

Or you can click on the "Export" button or pick File -> Export from the menu and process your image that way.

I downloaded 14.4.0.135 and it provides the functionality I was missing, but it works differently than in any tutorial I've seen.  No problem!  I can figure this out from here.  Thanks!

You would have to look at a tutorial produced since 14.4 came out, or it will be different.
