Edited a session and before export everything disappeared

I imported about 300 images, edited them, and starred the ones I wanted to export. As I was going to export them, I was trying to see how I can export just the starred ones, and then all images disappeared. I cannot locate them in Capture 1. The library shows that there are 209 starred images in the session but I cannot access them, or any of the images. How do I locate them in Capture 1? That has never happened to me.

  In the Metadata tab (or wherever you put the Filters tool), make sure that no criteria are checked (which should magically reveal all images in that folder/collection/etc.). You can clear all criteria from the "..." menu.

  To export just the starred images, go to the same tab and check the appropriate starred, color tag or other box. Just remember to clear the criteria when you're done or you'll be back in the same spot you are now.

  Yes clear all filters and search boxes. In addition make sure that you are looking at the Browser, not at the Viewer. If you see no images but the sentence "no images selected" in the middle of the screen, then you are looking at the Viewer  but without having selected any image in the Browser, thus the viewer has nothing to show.

  P.S. And select the collection "Capture" or the folder where your images are stored, in the library tool.
