I’m using a Sony RX100 IV, I have a Micro HDMI cable going into my adapter for my MacBook Pro. Capture one isn’t picking up my camera which is strange? Any help? Thank you

    I would be surprised if tethering with this camera had worked. If you mean you can't transfer your pictures direct from your camera to your computer, I think an HDMI cable is not the best one to do it. I would rather use an USB connection. In addition, it happens that Capture One can't transfer pictures from some cameras to the computer using a cable. I would suggest to use an SD card reader rather than a cable.
