is there a way to sort rated pictures by date ?

I usually mark pictures with maybe 4 stars to make a selection. Is there a way to sort this marked pictures by date?

    Sort where?  In the Browser?

    There is a "Sort by" option for the Browser. "Date" is one of the Sort options.

    Whether the Date used for the Browser sort is the date that you want to use remains, currently, an unanswered question.

    I know the sort by date function, but if i use "rating" to sort I miss a second level to sort the rated pictures by date... but there is no way to do that ?

    You need to filter the the date-sorted images.

    Select an album. You could also do this for projects, or All Images. Then, sort by date. Then, use the ratings filter tool to select the number of stars you want .You may select multiple star levels by pressing CMD+left click. 

    You could also filter first and then sort by date. Same result.

    Turn off the filter when you are done to see all images.

    Jerry C has provided the answer I too would have provided.

    I suppose you could also consider adding the required Date to the file name and then sorting based on the name. However, it might be excessive for your needs.
