My images arelost
I am using C1,22, on February 12, 2022 I shot 17 images. I can see them in C1 (Recent Imports), however I am unable to find them the “Pictures” folder on my Mac. I never experience this problem in any other import prior to 2022. How do I “get” the images into the Mac “Pictures” folder?

Right-click on any image you want to find and click "Reveal in Finder" (or "In Catalog" if the Finder option's grayed out).
You might have inadvertently told C1 to copy them into your catalog. If that's the case, you could click on the "Catalog" item in the images list and see what's there.

They are in a folder called "In Catalog". How canI move them from "In Catalog" to the appropriate folders in "Capture One 2022".

Just select the image(s) and drag them (in Capture One of course) from the catalog to which ever on-disk location you want. For example, if you want them in a folder called "Today" (which was either created from within Capture One or is one that you added to Capture One using the "+" button), select the images and drag them to the "Today" folder.
You might want to watch some of the video tutorials on C1's YouTube channel. David Grover's explained this very clearly in several videos over the last couple of years.
