Updates
Every time an update of Capture One 21 (Mac) comes out, I have to do many uncomfortable steps (PW-manager, Download, than installing etc) before new update is installed on my Mac.
Why ist it not possible, that after starting CaptureOne informs me, that an update is available and after click on button or link the update is downloaded and installed without sign in?
Or is there another easier way than I don't realize?

I think I get an email from Capture One when a new version is available. Or I read about it here. When that happens I do this:
- quit capture one. I might first save my workspace if I'm not sure if I've saved it since last making changes.
- download the dmg file
- open (mount) the dmg file
- drag the Capture One application to my Applications folder
- eject the dmg file and throw it in the trash
- Launch the new capture one
- Uncheck the box so I don't see that startup window any more
- Select my custom workspace if the update reverted to the default workspace
At no time do I have to do anything with password managers or sign ins. This is pretty much the same process I go through with about 1/2 of the apps I use. I do not find it too onerous.
Yes, it could be like the other 1/2 that can install themselves then relaunch. Many of those apps use software from https://sparkle-project.org. My guess is that Capture One doesn't do that because it want's to use the same process on both Mac and Windows.
