Error in exporting bulk images - Cannot Export all the variants

I am currently using the Trial version of C1 for the past several weeks and have exported batch images several times.

Today while exporting a set of 97 images (into JPEG high-res format), I am getting the error "Cannot Export all the selected variants". And C1 ended up exporting only 65 images. I am not sure I created any variants (how do I check for that?). But when I choose the remaining images (those which didn't export) individually, each of them gets exported. But the moment I select more than one image for export, it gives me this error (see attached screenshot). Now I am having to export 32 images one by one.

All images are online, high res and editable and of .CR2 format - so not sure what the error means.

Can anyone pls guide on what is happening and how to resolve it.

    Just for reference, the term "variants" is a word used to describe all possible edits not just images where more than one edit has been created for the same image.
