Capture one completely unusable
Couple of days ago capture one just stopped working. It opens... I can change the layout, but anything else like new session, open etc. just does not respond at all. I'm using the latest version and even found an older version that worked last night but when I open it this morning same problem. I've multiple uninstalls, the C++ reinstalls like suggested in another thread to no avail. Backed up on photo work and pulling my hair out as this program should just work as it always has. Filed a ticket yesterday with no response from support yet. Anything anyone can suggest to get this thing working again? Thank you...

Just in case you missed a suggestion:
It could be an OpenCL display issue.
Try turning hardware acceleration off in preferencesUpdate video card driver.
If using an Nvidia card try using their Studio driver rather than the Game Ready one.
Clear the ImageCore cache by deleting the ImageCore folder (then restart Capture One).
C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\ImageCoreTry verifying your catalog or session to check/repair any errors:

Reinstall with a fresh download of C1.
After saving your catalog or session backups somewhere safe, delete C1 and then reinstall:

Did anything change on your system just before the point at the point that the C1 startup stopped working?
Have you already rebooted your PC a few times after the reinstalls, etc? (I assume you most likely have done so.)
Can you check the activation details? Maybe deactivate and re-activate?
Have you checked to see what is running using the Windows monitoring tools?

This solved my problem! Thank you so much, you are a lifesaver as CaptureOne has not responded to my ticket yet.
