Browser importing too many images
Thanks for any help. All of a sudden, and without changing any settings, whenever I start a new session and import a handful of pictures to that session, I get dozens of pics imported from other, prior sessions. This means my browser will show my new handful, but they are scattered among dozens of pics from weeks prior. What am I doing wrong? It's driving me crazy. Thanks.

Where, in your system, are the images you are newly importing?
Where, in your system or network, are the images you previously imported to different sessions?

Hi. I am importing to my default Pictures folder on the Macbook. I imported some SD card photos today to a new session, and within that export the browser showed me pics from other sessions that were last week and more. I have changed no settings, or else I am losing my mind. Always a possibility.

This all sounds very strange.
Can we assume that the new import directly from the SD card was a recently formatted card and did not previously contain the images imported to other sessions earlier?
Also that when you wrote "..., and within that EXPORT the browser ..." the word Export was intended to be Import? If it was meant to be Export then I'm concerned that I am not understanding what you did.
If, as a test, you try to import the new files AND the older files that were previously imported to a different session and appear in the browser, what happens? Are the older files "imported" to the new session? Or does that activity result in some sort of error message?
