Capture one 21 very slow on Imac 27" i7 4GHz 32GB Ram and SSD

I need to wait a few seconds to apply any slider 

Is really annoying 

Not expecting something like when I paid for software and a few upgrades already!

    I have exactly the same problem.
    I've been using C1 since version 7 and it always happens that one of the sub-versions (e.g. 14.4.1.16) reacts unbearably slow. This may change again with the next update.

    If you can trust the reports of other users, it seems that the hardware acceleration is not working properly. When I turn off the acceleration, I don't notice any difference.

    I have tested the current version 14.4.1. on a Mac-Book Air (8GB) with M1 processor and C1 runs very fast and without problems.

    I am looking for an alternative to C1 and am testing DxO (PL) , ON1-Raw and find that they are all much faster than C1 but unfortunately not in handling.

    I have never received a solution to this problem from support so I have given up trying to contact support.

    The problem is your gpu cant handle the 5k resolution. That the official support reply.

    unofficialy i would say, their coders cant code it properly to use hardware :)

    i have no issues with LR performance on same machine.

    you can use one trick to speed things up.

    switch the aplication to low resolution mode, so instead of 5k you will use the aplication in 2550x. Not much of a visual difference
