Smart albums – an easier way to use multiple level keywords as criteria
ImplementedAs it is, when adding search criteria to a smart album you have to specify multiple level keywords like this:
"1st level keyword|2nd level keyword|3rd level keyword|4th level keyword [etc.]".
E.g. Europe|Sweden|Skåne|Malmö.
It would make things a lot easier if you could just write "4th level keyword" ("Malmö") without the preceding "1st level keyword|2nd level keyword|3rd level keyword|" ("Europe|Sweden|Skåne|"). Naturally, if the keyword in question was used as a sub-keyword of more than one other keywords, the album would then include all instances of it.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your feedback on Capture One - we appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your suggestion for implementing multiple level keywords as search criteria to Smart Albums to our Product Management team.
Hopefully, your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board.

As an extension of the idea, how about the ability to create a smart album definition from the Filters tool selection, as currently possible via the "browser" filter, but make it direct editing? It would save a step or two and also allow interactive development of the filter that will eventually be the basis of the Smart Album.
Currently one has to create a Smart Album from the filter and then edit the Album definition if required. It could be made easier to allow "tuning" and change settings like "All" and "Any" for the rule set at the point of Filter selection rather than have to go through the "Apply filter > Create Smart Album > Edit Smart Album Definition" steps.
