Can't Complete Pre-Order of Capture One 22 from Canada
I can't pre-order Capture One Pro 22 using my VISA credit card because FastSpring's order form is set to accept only USA zip codes and is rejecting my Canadian Postal Code.
Have any Canadians on the forum successfully pre-ordered Capture One Pro 22? Have you used a credit card or did you use PayPal?

There are a few posts regardiing "Canada", if you use the search function maybe you'll find an answer.

Same here just with Austria/Europe and not Canada. However, if you contact support they send you a link which works just fine. It seems to be a flaw in the set-up.
But do not be astonished if the activation code you receive does not work ...... I am having a very nice chat with a very nice lady from support - but that is it .....

Thanks, Martin. I didn't think I was alone, but wanted to know this was a wider issue and not something I was doing incorrectly. I hope your activation code issue resolves quickly, and I get that link from support before the pre-order offer of a discount ends.

Just completed it and had no issues, no spaces for postal code

Mark, Well, I can't pay by credit card using a Canadian postal code, regardless of whether there is a space in the code or not.
Here's what Fastspring replied to my support inquiry:
Thank you for your inquiry,
After carefully checking your situation, we have found out that this is a current bug that we are facing, our system is not showing the right option for Canada, it should say Postal Code instead of Zipcode, we want you to know this issue is important to us. Our production support team is reviewing the problem immediately and will prioritize it against other reported bugs and features we're currently working on.
We cannot commit to an immediate time frame for resolution, but the team is looking into this issue. You may respond here or open a new ticket for information at a later date. If you have the option to pay with PayPal while this is resolved, we will appreciate it.
If you have no further questions, we will be solving this ticket and the ticket will close in five days. Once the case status is closed, we will not be notified of updates so if you find you need further attention, please create a new case.

Sorry to hear that, I paid with my VISA and entered my postal code in the zip code box and all went smoothly. It's the same thing I did last year, I also just deactivated my old license and activated the new one.
Not sure what the difference might be? Hope they get it sorted out for you.

So, Mark, just checking here: Are you in Canada, using a Canadian bank credit card with a Canadian billing address?
Sorry to ask, but I'm sure you can imagine I'm getting flustered by this. Thanks for bearing with me.

Okay, I just did it: I completed a pre-order transaction. But Fastspring still would not accept my Canadian postal code, but it did accept 10101 instead. I've written to Capture One support to explain this. Now I'm curious to see how this plays out. Although the transaction is showing in my online banking as a pending transaction, I wonder if the postal code vs zip code conflict will cause the bank to cancel it. What a mess!

Glad to hear you were able to make it work, hope it sticks.
Yes I live in Canada, Canadian credit card on a Canadian Bank and Canadian billing address. Not sure what the difference would be?

Yes, I hope it sticks, too. Can't figure out why this happened to me and not you, but these glitches can be weird. Never had a problem in years past. Have used Fastspring on other sites. But, Fastspring have definitely identified my issue as a bug that they are working on, so I'm not crazy - at least in this instance!

It appears to still be an issue. I'm from Canada and trying to purchase the Styles Collection (Black Friday sale) and cannot enter the postal code.
I've tried using PayPal but it won't link for whatever reason and then try credit card.
I really hope this is resolved before the sale is over.

Hi Sean, I ended up entering all my name and address details for Canada, except I could not change the USA as country, so I entered a valid USA zip code.
The purchase went through successfully.
As an aside, I made several purchases of other European software this week using Fastspring with no difficulty - the Canada country and postal code was requested and worked in each case. So, this is a Capture One issue, I think.
Open a support ticket about this. I did for mine. It was several days before I had a response and I had made my purchase using the zip code because I did not want to loose out on the pre-purchase deal. Support was no help, however, once I told them I secured a license code - quite annoying, actually.

Thanks Stephen,
I may have end up having do that. Frustrating that they didn't resolve that issue being that its been going on for some weeks now.
