Canon R5 and C1 not displaying the images in the browser

I just bought a canon R5 and I am trying to tether it to my MBP running Big Sur. In my session, the laptop connects to the camera and I can control the camera, and even shoot images, however the taken image never shows up in the image browser or on the viewer. When I check the folder in the session, there are Jpg's there of what I shot, but no raw files. Any suggestions?

I have a big shoot in two days and would like to tether.
