Upgraded Capture one to 21 (14.4.1,6) and it's not using the right catalog ...I can't fix it
I have the Fuji Capture One and upgraded from 13 to 14 and when I installed it hooked up an old Catalog that is not the right one. I see no way to change to the correct catalog where I have my imported images linked.

No Idea why the New and Open options are not showing in your File menu
but can you just use Windows Explorer to navigate to your correct catalog file
(xxxx.cocatalogdb) and double click/open it?0 -
I tried the file approach and that was not working either but I was finally able to get it open by File -> Verify Catalog or Session -> Select my correct catalog ... after it successfully verified, there was an Open button. This might be the way CO for Fuji works- maybe restricted to one catalog ... but the problem was that the upgrade seemed to switch me to an old catalog that I had first experimented with.

The free Express versions of C1 are restricted to one catalog.
EVerything else should allow multiple catalogs and sessions.

I have a paid license for the fuji version not free express. Maybe I downloaded the wrong one - I just purchased the latest version - preorder and it looked like I need to upgrade to 14 from 13 in preparation. If I have the wrong one, how do I get the right one? How do I even know if I have the wrong one?

Ok so I guess I have my main catalog back, that Alt trick was handy. No idea why the upgrade changed my catalog. Irritating the support has not responded to my email, I would think this would be a common issue if it's from the upgrade.

If you previously tried out the Express version you will likely have activated it.
If you then purchased the FUll version you would need to de-activate the Express license and then use the new full system license to re-activate.
There is no difference in the downloaded software between any of the main versions of C1 other than operating system requirements. The features and functionalities available are controlled by the license activation code.
For specialized versions there may be some differences in some controls but in principle the code is common to all of the options within a specific Version and Release number.

I have the Capture One Express Fujifilm (subscription) - express and purchased. I don't need multiple catalogs. The problem was that somehow the upgrade set me back to my eval catalog from 2020 and I could not figure out how to get my real working catalog back - but the Alt trick did it so I think I am all square again. When I open Capture One now, it opens my real catalog :-) ... so all good
