I have a Macbook Pro Monterey operating system 12.0.1 plenty memory etc.

Capture One does not see the camera for import at all says error.

  Firstly check that you have the required release of Capture One - or later.

  i have 14.4.1.16

  it is a trial but should be ok

  Is the connection requirement for tethering?

  I believe there are several connection modes in the camera and the correct one needs to be set.

  I also seem to recall that there was a fairly recent firmware update for some Fuji cameras that might be significant but I'm not sure if the 100S was affected by that.

  In C1 check 

  Edit > Preferences > Capture (Tab)

  and check that  Fuji is selected as a manufacturer for potential tethered connection.

   

  Let's see where that takes you.
