Changing camera system

I’ve just changed fromFuji to Sony and am wondering if there’s a discount to change to Sony Capture from the Fuji version. Thanks

    Keep in mind that if you switch to Capture One for Sony you won't be able to edit your Fuji files any more.

    That's why I'd always go with the Pro version whenever multiple camera systems are invovled. Imagine a client ordering some photos from a shoot from last year and you can't edit those files...

    For a Subscription you would just start a new subscription and, presumably, cancel you old one. So the question does not arise.

    For a perpetual license, one might assume that the price for the Fuji-only license was supported by Fuji and now the price for the Sony-only license is supported by Sony.  Therefore there is no financial connection and no reason for some form of discount. 

    There are documents in the Community FAQ articles that cover questions about Licenses in more detail than it makes sense to write here. I would recommend searching if you have not found any links on any of the starting pages. That should produce a number of links to articles that might be of interest to you.
