Upgrade paid, but no activation possible
Hi all,
I've bought an upgrade to CO22 and I've downloaded the last trial of 21. But I'm not able to use the delivered license key, CO always says "There is no further activation possible".
Can anybody help here please? If the trial runs out, I would not be longer able to use the software though I've already paid.

Which version of C1 did you have before you purchased the Upgrade to V22?

I had C20 pro installed as my last version. Then I've downloaded the trial of 21 with a trial key and was not able to buy a 21 key because it was not longer available. Just a license for 22 was possible but the FAQ said, I can activate also my 21 trial with it and will get the upgrade to 22 later. I'm fine with that, but with the 22 key I've bought no activation of 21 is possible. So I'm still running it with the trial key which will stop working in a few days.

The V20 (or earlier) to V22 upgrade seems to have been provided with a restriction about using V21 while awaiting V22. It is now documented in the FAQ article about the Upgrade "deal".
It seems odd marketing, even as a reason for justifying the additional price discount. I suppose someone probably has a logical explanation for it but that might never escape Capture One HQ!
I have no idea what to suggest for when your trial license expires.
Do you know anyone else that might need a trial around that time?

Thanks a lot SFA! Yes, it is indeed odd and I'll try to generate a new Trial with a new account. I would prefer to avoid that and I hope it is not depending on a hardware key or something, so that I'm able to use a different key till 22 has shipped. I've also send a support ticket more than a week ago which still hasn't been read or answered so I like the Software but I don't like how they interact with their customers. So maybe it is time to check alternatives also regarding the way how they treat their ambassadors.
