External disk, C1 does not read

I have the C1 20.0.4.

All photos are on an external disk.

After updating the disk software, the C1 recognizes the Folder (green light) but does not read its contents.

Through Windows and other programs I can see everything that the external disk contains.

What should I do?

Will reinstalling the C1 solve the problem?
