Add to User Guide: Importing Session to Catalog alternative via Import Images
Please add information/instructions to User Guide: alternative method to importing a Session into a Catalog using Import Images function, including information to check box for "Include Existing Adj's", Synchronizing in order to include Metadata, what to do with the xmp files, plus any other useful info I'm not yet aware of.
The User Guide explains how to import a Session into a Catalog with File>Import Session and selecting the cossesiondb file. The problem with this is that you can only import ALL the images. I was looking for a way to be able to select which images to import and have discovered that the alternative is to use File>Import Images. From here it is possible to check or uncheck which images to import. However, this is not practical if you have thousands of images and want to import hundreds. In order to be able to select images by Rating, Tag, Keyword or any other Metadata, I have learned after much searching that you need to Synchronize the Metadata.
Could all this information please be added to the User Guide and/or a Tutorial so that all the time and effort I have spent is not repeated by others and so it's not just stored in a few people's heads? Sorry if it's already somewhere and I missed it.
I only learnt all this after after spending a huge amount of time, firstly checking the User Guide, watching many tutorials on Sessions and/or Catalogs by David Grover and others, and posting the question on the website Knowledge Base. But I only finally got the answer after posting the question in the Capture One Forum (thank you Michael Bothager)

Maybe you can add this as a comment to the relevant article in case C1 does not pick up your suggestion here.

Hmm, yeh, that'd be a good idea. Thanks
But I would've thought it'd be better if it was written and done in a more official way, as I've only picked up bits'n'pieces on the Forum. I'm concerned that there might be more to it than that, or some other complications. I wouldn't want people to follow my lead and end up in trouble and cause headaches for the support staff. Thought it'd be better if the development people were involved. Or do you think all that's not really an issue?
I firstly submitted it as a Feature Request but added it here as well, as suggested by MB
