Problem importing Lightroom Catalog

Hey there,

I am trying to import my Lightroom Catalog (~45000 pictures) into a new Capture One Catalog. It starts ok and then gets stuck at picture 717. No errors, it's just stuck, eats up 100% CPU and the remaining time goes up. Can someone give me a hint about what to do next to solve this? Is there a log that shows the actual problem or the picture/video that breaks the import?

    Can you identify which file "file 717" is that C1 is trying to import?

    There are certain constraints on which files C1 will work with and some additional constraints related to minimum and maximum image dimensions. See the Release Notes for details.

    If you know you may have those file types or sizes in your LR catalog that might be useful guidance.

    There are also recommendations to try to make the LR catalog as "clean" as possible before import to smooth the import path.

    Have you already seen and read the guidance articles about importing LR catalogs? There may be some useful point that might suggest things to you for checking in your own LR catalog contents.

    Thank you for your response SFA!

    Didn't know how to find the bad file(s). So I had to split up my LR catalog by year (2002-2021) and imported each year seperately. Luckily it was only one "bad year" which I then split up by month and so on...

    That was a lot of work but in the end I had to remove a few files from the original LR catalog and could import it in one run.
