Help with color grading yellow closer to the original RAW
Hello everyone,
Once again I am having trouble with color.
I really like the RAW image that I can see in Mac's preview, but when I import it into Capture One 20, I get a orange-ish image that doesn't appear to be as detailed. The original RAW preview features more texture, higher contrast, and an overall sharper appearance (for example, just looking at the mirror-finish edges, I much prefer the RAW preview over the C1 import). Also, pay attention to the left side of the device, in the C1 import, texture is lost, whereas on the second one the texture of the stainless steel is much more apparent (you can see every individual "groove"). To further help you, look at the left side of the device where there is some dust (the little white line), at that specific area there is more texture in the RAW preview. The RAW import looks dull compared to the preview.
1st image (C1 import — unedited), 2ng image (Mac preview):
Does anyone have any advice as to how I should go about editing the photo to achieve an end result that is as close to the RAW preview as possible. I really want to achieve the more yellow-looking color on the golden rings, and would like to bring back the texture and the sharpness. I tried playing around with the Color Editor, but always got a green-looking result... no matter what I did, it looked more green than yellow.
C1 settings (I haven't fiddled with any settings except for setting "Curve" to "Film Extra Shadow":
