Images too bright in C1 | values off for dark tones

Hello everyone,

I have the issue, that in C1 the images are shows too bright. Not only too bright, but the darker the value is, the more the offset. 127 is shown as 126 but 18 is shown as 25. I have seen a few post with similar issues, but not quite that. It does not depend on the acceleration, the colour space or anything else. To keep things simple I set the monitors to sRGB and only use sRGB in images and for export. The effect is always the same:

 

Those RBG readings below the toolbar show the displayed values I guess. The numbers in the image file are the actual grey values, which are shown correctly in all other colour managed applications. You can see clearly the difference between C1 and irfan here.


I have the issue with C20 and not with C21. Unfortunatly I have the full version of C20 and only Sony express for C21.

 

I that state C1 is pretty much unusable for me.

    What "curve" is shown in the Base Characteristics tool (on the Colour tool tab)?

    What happens if you change it to Linear Response?

    It makes no difference which curve I use. I had tried that. The issue is the same with all of them.
