Wireless tethering for not Canon?

The new wireless tethering looks great, except that I am not shooting an R5.  Are there plans to add the wireless tethering to Nikon and Sony, both of which clearly have some kind of capability based on their dedicated apps?

I hope so.

I also heard that now that Macs and iPads run M1, there was going to be a more feature rich version for the iPad.  Any hope for that?
