Great Evaan, would be great to have someone does this! I'm going to try with Canon DX MKIII at the end of the job, tomorrow night. In case of success i'll let you know :-)

    Best,

    Paolo

Was finally able to get it working. EOS Utility is the culprit, default for EOS utility is to automatically open when a canon camera is found. Not only must this be disabled but even if you quit EOS utility, Capture One while being able to see the Canon Camera, will still not allow you to connect and take control of the camera. You must restart capture one and go thru the wifi setup with EOS Utility completely disabled, and that screen, which I see now Capture One has removed from their walkthrough that showed the EOS Utility prompt. Now with EOS Utility no longer set to auto open, you must connect to the computer and then from within C1 you drop down menu to the camera and voila it works. If anyone needs a video walkthrough, I might consider it but I think it's now a little more straight forward

Sorry Evan, i forgot adding here my test result. Was really straightforward since i don't use Eos Utility so Canon normally doesn't activate anything. Anyway as you probably already know each camera connection setting is in Camera Capture app (Apple). Having say that with hotel wi-fi was a 3 sec transfer time for a jpeg fine quality and 8 for a raw file Canon dx MK3. Still too long time for my needs...but is a starting, at least easy compared with Canon accessories for wireless connections that i remember as something to stay away from :-)
