CO 22 Layer Naming
I notice now that when naming a layer, double clicking on the name places the text cursor to the right of the name. You now have to manually select the layer name with the cursor - one extra step. In CO 21, double clicking the layer name selected the whole name, making renaming easier. Maybe this could be an option? It's little thing, I know...

Reworded after the clarification by @Class A below:
The primary reason I double-click the layer name is to rename it, so the desired behaviour is that double-clicking (or clicking on the name of a layer that is already selected) should fully select the whole name so that it can be replaced by typing.
I believe this was the way that it worked in C0 21.

@Michael Franklin
Simply clicking on the layer name once should, in my view, not select the layer name for renaming. This would force one to select a layer, e.g., when adjusting associated parameters or tweaking the mask, by clicking on the right-hand-side element (next to the name). Otherwise, the subsequent use of keyboard shortcuts would be interpreted as part of a new layer name.
I suggest that single-clicking should just select the layer while double-clicking (or clicking on the name of a layer that is already selected) should fully select the whole name so that it can be replaced by typing.

Agreed, thanks for the clarification - I have updated by initial comment above to reflect this.

Yes. That's how it is in version 20 (Windows) and prior versions and it is perfect, no need to change it in v22 imo, so maybe it is a bug?
