Bug: Skin Tone Not Limited to Mask on Separate Layer
I'm using Capture One 21 (Build 14.4.1.6 for Sony) and the Skin Tone tool is not being limited to the masked area of a layer but is rather being applied to the entire image. Please fix this bug so the selected skin tones are limited to the area that is masked in the layer.
Thanks!!

It is working as advertised here but there is a bug with the "view selected color range" box.
If you have it unticked you should see that adjustments are correctly limited to the masked area.
Having it ticked will show adjustments apparently being applied to the whole image.
Either way, clicking on the background layer should show that the adjustments have been correctly applied only to the mask area.

If you have the View Selected Color Range box ticked C1 is simply showing the colour range selected for the whole image. At that point it is not a Mask - just the information about where the selection is being made so that one can confirm it is as expected and needed.
If one then chooses to Create a mask from the selected colour range then a mask will be created and can then be edited as required so that it does not apply to certain parts of the image or can be extended to apply to certain parts of the image. However, that is just creating a mask and not changing any colour UNLESS a colour edit is then applied to the mask. Any other edits applied to the same later will also be applied to the mask - but at that time the selected colour view is no longer very relevant to the mask other than, perhaps, checking how the original colour selection compares to the current mask.
If you are seeing the changes being applied to the entire image and you are sure that the layer is selected and active as you make the change, then any other edit you make at the same time should also be applied to the whole image. Does that happen?

Thanks for the feedback.
It looks like I had the "View Selected Color Range" ticked so it appeared that changes were being made to the entire image without being limited to the masked area. Once the "View Selected Color Range" was unchecked the color range edits are limited to the masked area.
