cannot activate my Capture One 22 version

    Activating 22 has been a complete fiasco. I also get an error:
    "Could not activate because activation profile is incorrect"

    Test 01-06: all say Succeded

    Check 01: Success
    Check 02: BFEBFBFF000506E3 /
    Check 03: 2914845449
    Check 04: OK
    Check 05: 236
    Check 06: success

    I went through the activating troubleshooting links and nothing works. I even tried reactivating 21 and now 21 won't work either.. I'm dead in the water b/c C1 is not working at all.. There are buttons that will email me verification or password resets but I'm not even getting these emails.

    Kevin,

    Having access to the forum suggests that your Capture One Account login is working. 

    So can you see your account and manage it, your activations, history and so on?

    I can log-in and review SOME info but other options won't work. I changed my log-in password, no problem, but I cannot see purchase history, upgrade license, etc. Anything that requires the system to send me an email doesn't function. I type in my email at which time its supposed to send me an email but I never get it. I've done this about 10 times and I haven't received any emails not even in my spam folder.

    When trying to activate the software it will retrieve my info given the email/password, no problem there either.

    If my account is working properly what causes the below error to happen?

    "Could not activate because activation profile is incorrect"

    Do you have any previous license activations still active (ignore trial licenses although if they have expired I would expect them to be de-activated.)

    Are you certain you do not have 2 accounts active. Retrieving the account info should allow access to the missing information but you can also have an account that allows access to the forum, etc. but has no purchase info of license info attached to it.

    Just wondering if you have something like that going on.

    Also, sometimes, I find some sites fail to work using Edge or Firefox browsers unless one is in a "Private" window.  So far I have not had the need to work out why that should be  - especially if it seems to be a temporary state and nothing has changed as far a sI am aware.

    Whether this will be of any help to you or not I have no idea. I would suggest creating a "Request" for support but there seems little point if the email communications are not working!

    This is the only account. I have been messing with different emails after it wouldn't activate so I don't know if that has caused an additional issue but the email shown in my account is allowing me to login so I'm guessing all is well.

    I am using Firefox. I just tried logging in with IE and the website wont even load. I then used Microsoft Edge and the website loaded fine and I logged into my account fine. I clicked on License Manage and again typed in my email ad so far I have been waiting about 10 minutes for it to arrive and so far nothing in Inbox or Spam folder. I'm even trying to send the info to a second email address that shouldn't be associated with this account and still nothing shows up.

    I don't know how a web browser can affect the activation of a license though...?

    I opened up Case 00008520 yesterday (and received the case email) but I haven't heard back from anyone.

    I get email notifications when someone replies to this thread so the email is working to some degree with their system. It also worked when I bought version 21 a few weeks ago...

    I did purchase the update Nov 7th 2021.  I made obviously  a mistake when upgrading to 22. I cannot use the voucher nor the previous activation code. I am probably stuck in the trial version. How can I handle this activating it for free ?
