Import recipies

It would be great if there could be import recipies the same way there are export recipies.
I am currently doing this via applescript and it works great, but it might be more elegant if I could make a recipe so that when I insert a card I can just select an import recipe that saves files in a specific location, adds a subfolder with certain attributes in the name, names the files in a certain way, saves a backup, etc. Basically everything you can select and modify in the import dialog could be stored as a single click recipe. Again I do this with applescript, but making it a recipe would not only be more elegant, but allow windows users to have that functionality as well.
