Live View unusable in Capture One 22

I upgraded from Capture One 20 to Capture One 22 last week but I am very unhappy. 

Live View is unusable, it freezes, is sluggish and crashes constantly.

Live View is critical to my workflow.

I'm on a Core i7-6670HQ with 32GB of ram and Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580. The fan on my PC is going full throttle when Capture One is open (it never sped up with C1 20).

Really regretting the upgrade as I am not able to work.
