    Hi Robert,

    I got the same issue. The only (and fast) way I solved it is by starting Capture One from my last backup.

    Thanks Robert,

    I tried to "Restore from backup", if that's what you mean......but all the thumbnails disappeared and replaced with a big fat question mark, even with the external ssd disconnected.

    I've never had success with Capture One backups, so I back up with Carbon Copy Cloner as well. Had to restore the Catalogue from CCC, as it became unusable.

    Same thing happens. Capture One recognises the external drive and creates that "green" link, but says my Nikon files are not supported.

    Robert,

    If you can retrieve a copy of your whole catalogue (including previews) from CCC, I would suggest to copy it into your iMacHD, maybe with an other name than your previous catalogue, and double click on it to launch Capture One. That's what I did once, and it worked.

    I had done that previously. but I copied it again and changed the name like you said. Didn't help. The second I disconnect the external drive, the catalogue goes back to normal. As soon as I connect again, this appears....

    In my Capture One Account, it only shows Capture 20 as being registered and activated, when I have deactivated and deleted Capture 20, installed 22 and activated it.

    Not sure what else it could be....

    Robert,

    I am sorry, I can't help you any more. Maybe somebody else, better than me, could help you.

    Last thing : when you disconnect your external drive, this message disappears, which means that your RAWs are not readable, but your previews seem to be OK. You could try to relocalise your external drive by right clicking and then locate....

    @Robert Colbert

    If you cannot see your V22 license in your account something odd is going on

    I assume you are not on a Trial of V22 and you did not upgrade by moving to a Subscription?

    Is it possible you have a second account?

    If none of those possibilities apply (and maybe even if they do apply) I wold suggest contacting Capture One Support  (Licensing section not technical) using the "Submit a request" function.

    Robert Farhi,

    You are brilliant. I located the external drive like you said, and all works perfectly now. Edits are working faster too, with no lag.

    Thanks for taking the time to help.

    Cheers

    Rob

    @SFA

    Yes, I pre-ordered v22, they gave me new Licence Key to activate my existing v20, and told to use that same key to activate V22 when it became available and downloaded.

    Account shows that v20 is activated, even though I deleted it on my computer and have v22 activated.

    The pre order is shown in my account history.

    Don't have another account.

    Will submit a request.

    Thankyou

    A bit late, but I should have thanked Robert Fahri when his tip about locating the files also worked for me and my Fuji files a few weeks ago.

    Hey Robert,

    My name is also Robert. Had the same issue after upgrading to V22. I tried your tip to locate. Did one on my entire drive and it worked. Now all my images are back to normal. However, I created a new catalog with V22, imported and it's working ok but never saw the problem until I went to my old catalog to edit some previous photos.

    Great tip. I had already submitted a support request and waiting for their feedback.

    Thanks.

    Same problem. Same @Robert Farhi solution: Locate the external drive again (for no apparent reason). Thank you Robert F.
