Same here (Monterey 12.1 on a 2021 16" MacBook Pro M1 Pro). I can import quite a lot (40k) of my images. But when importing some specific folders in C1 starts crashing. It suffices to open the importer dialog and to change to that folder.

    Hello all - having same issue on a MBP 2018 / macOS Monterey 12.2.1 / 15.1.0.123

Did anyone find a solution for it?

Same here. Tried using two other SSD drives as well but still no joy. The software is now unusable.

I have a MacStudio fully spec'd and save catalog, a new one to multiple external SSD's as where the photos also save on different drives. I can't believe it is the drives. Encrypted drives using APFS.

I am glad I came off the subscription but now regretting the outright purchase as well.

Can't believe I have to go back to Adobe to get things done. That is quite a statement and takes a lot of doing so well done. Apologies for this statement if it my end but I seem not to be the only one.

I have the same problem as well. It crashes randomly all of a sudden. I'm on a well speced Imac 2017 running latest Monterey.

Same here, tried with SSD and SD Card. Crash anytime. I have a job to deliver and I'm desperate... Help please, it's not acceptable

Same here. Pentax DNG files. Latest version of C1 22, running on iMac 3.4GHz 2017 Retina. It has done it every import lately.

When it crashes it also slows my entire machine, all other software runs at a glacial pace. Restarting the Mac can take 20 minutes.

I've tried importing direct from the camera, and also copying the files to a folder on the Mac hard drive. The C1 catalog itself is on an external SSD because that way it runs faster than using the internal Fusion drive.

Next import I'm going to try creating a new catalog, editing the images there, then merging into my main catalog.

The workaround works. Create a new catalog, import the new DNG images files there. Edit them, then import that catalog into the main catalog.
