This image is in an unsupported file format
I have been using C1 Pro 21 with no issues. I am using an M1 Pro Max Mac computer. Today I upgraded to C1 Pro 22. Now all of my images, which are stored on an external drive, are blurred and labeled "This image is in an unsupported file format". I've tried ejecting and reconnecting the external drive, but still get the same result.

You might want to post this in the Mac section of the forum.

I'm having exactly the same problem as Jack, similar set up although mine is an M1 Mac. I'm using C1 Pro 21 and the problem popped up suddenly last week. The catalogue verifies fine and I've looked at the permissions on the external drive. I downloaded C1 Pro 22 and there's no change. I can create a new catalogue and import my images to a new folder and everything works as it should, but of course I've lost all the adjustments I made.

I'm having exactly the same problem as Jack
What kind of files are they?

Keith R.: I resolved the problem. I downloaded C1 2022 again and made sure my catalog is referencing the primary files, not the backup files. One of those actions resolved the problem.

I am having similar issues. I have several external drives. The problem appears to be on on of them. I am able to access the files outside of C1 so I know it is not the drive.

Hi there,
did anyone find a fix for that?
My entire Library became unreadable overnight.
Mostly .DNG from a Leica Q2
Thank you

I'm pretty sure I found it here somewhere and the solution was to go to your folders in the library and right-click on the missing ones and then chose 'Locate'. That enables you to re-link with your directories and everything pops back into view.
Sorry that's a bit vague but I haven't needed to do it for a while.
