Rubbish isn't it. I hope they pull their finger out and come up with a satisfactory fix or something because right now, C1 22 is no better than C1 21 for me.

hm we don't even get a working auto rotate feature as it fails most of the time. what we got is more like

    General UX improvements

    • The Edit All icon has been removed from the default workspace, reducing the risk of users unknowingly disabling it with a confusing workflow to follow.

if you can't see what big improvement this is you for sure hate c1.....;-)

Hey, but we do have cheerleaders telling us how wonderful it is.

Yes, auto rotation is NOT working as expected and as it should! I have an example of an apparently misaligned Image with a very visible Horizon. Auto-Rotation does not change this Image. And an Image that is exactly horizontal is clearly rotated incorrectly.  Back to Development Department!

yes auto rotation is crap, and you are right it rotates images which do not need a correction !  it is not even close to the performance of  the auto rotate feature in dxo pl  btw.  so their first AI based tool is a big dissapoinment.  I more and more get the impression c1 has not the best developers working on this software.

Seriously considering the switch to adobe for what I get for the yearly outlay. The stuff I want doesn’t work and most of what does, I can get included in LR as part of my CC sub.

We bought into the spiel of David, Paul and the rest of the "carnival barkers". It seems to me, that for the second year, C1 released a product based on schedule rather than maturity.  Hopefully, they will get serious and clean up the mess early in '22.

During Beta testing I pointed out problems and told them that their approach to HDR did not produce results as good as those available from PTgui or Photomatix. I also told them that none of the other pano products that I have used (PS, LR, Hugin, Affinity Photo, PTgui, etc.) required adjusting the light falloff in order to achieve a good seam blend. Further more, I find it hard to believe that a professional level product does not have a way to add control points in order to improve stitching.  While C1 has a good workflow, their product is mediocre at best.

Albeit inconvenient, for the time being, I will be using Photomatix to merge and Affinity to stitch. A satisfactory result beats a good workflow.

good points, when you take into account that many longstanding bugs again are also not addressed it is even more frustrating.  after they have ruined the layer copy behaviour 2 years ago I hoped they will come to reason and understand the problem and at leat provide an option to use the old behaviour. nada.

This is an open letter to the talking heads on youTube.

In the words of the Lewis Carroll, this is getting couriouser and couriouser.  Many of you, except for Todd Dominey and John Magnoski, are waxing enthusiastically over C1, 22 HDR/Pano while we mere mortals are finding problems. Are you talking about the same software? Are you testing it or are you merely reading from the press releases?  From my experience with C1,22 Todd and John are telling like it is.

Without assigning motive, being a cheer leader without actually testing the product is doing a major disservice to the “buying public”. Come-on guys, be honest test it first.

the internet opened a flood of dishonesty coming from people with disguised business interests presented as service for our community. what should "paul" for example do ? keep on getting payed and exposed by c1 or tell the truth ?  considering a huge part of his website is about workshops and brand affiliations , obviously he's main business, it is no surprise why he does not say a bad word about c22.
