Stupid Question
Stupid Question, but how do I get to talk to an actual human being at Capture One to resolve my problem
-
Best Guess: you don't. All you can do is click the Submit a request button and enter your issue. Maybe you'll be contacted by someone from zendesk. Zendesk does Capture One support. Maybe the zendesk person will agree that you have an actual issue and pass it on to Capture One. Maybe.
Good luck getting your problem resolved.

Marco, is that really the way Zendesk works?

Not being a zendesk insider I don't know for sure. I base my statements upon my interactions with support. All communications have come for a zendesk.com address, albeit captureone.zendesk.com. When a bug is acknowledged I receive a comment from support along the lines of "I've filed a report with all the details for our R&D team to audit the issue."
The only time I've communicated with someone who I think was from capture one was in regards to issues reported when using a Capture One Beta. That person at least had a captureone.com email address.

Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned, but after 50 years as a pro, I can remember a time when actual humans picked up the phone. I'm sure C1 is doing well enough on a global scale and I am generally happy with C1 21. But when I get a little niggle, I would appreciate not talking to a ZEN Desk, but being talked through the problem!
Sorry to be a grump.

...but while waiting for a reply from support you can always try to elaborate your problem here and depending on the problem someone might actually be able to help, unless of course it is a definite software bug.
that is kind of the point of a user forum.0 -
appreciate that ruppert bohle,
I have uninstalled, then reinstalled and with the help of another user I know, managed to get up and running again. So, problem solved, but in the end, I would still appreciate being able to chat it through with help at C1
