I cannot suggest a reason for a large number of Notifications but you can manage them in the Preferences tool. Maybe turn them off for Export until you have discovered why there are so many?

It may also be something that can be influenced by settings in the Windows Notifications Management tool.

Does the number of completion windows correspond to the number of images exported?

    Report it here: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

No it does not corresponds to the number of images exported.

I just exported 1 image and had to press the OK button more than 20 times for the dialog close.

It is random: sometimes 1, sometimes 10 and another times more...

Go to Settings -> Notifications and disable them all.

I just tested this and it works for me: no more dialogs

I did the same and it works. But on my opinion this seems a workaround more than a real solution.

There seems to be something a little odd about notifications in WIn 10 at the moment.

My system, upon waking from hibernation, gives be an array of messages about a mapped drive (my NAS) not being available.

This may be for a couple of reasons, one being the NAS can also be slow to restart from hibernation, but it seems that Windows is reporting the problem for every process rather than as a generic, system wide event.

It looks like the re-try process is repeating (as it should) and sending a message for each attempt. That is more or less the same thing that your screen shot appears to be showing. However, why C1 is not responding after the Export is not made clear in the message. What is the expectation for the Exported images just created? Are they to be opened for editing in Capture One?
