Centralized Master Catalog Backup API

In a large environment (20 C1 users), I want to centralize our catalogs daily. Every user has a unique catalog. At the end of the day their catalogs are backed up to our NAS. I'd like to ingest each users catalogs into a master catalog for the year to make a giant iterable catalog. The master database would need backups too. I'd like to have a script that triggers the backup sequence. Is there a way I can program something to accomplish this? I was thinking the API might have something, but it seems like it's only for developing plugins to use in C1 and not to interface with C1.

  Use the APIs from the management account in AWS Organizations to enforce. Canada (Central), ca-central-1, config.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com, HTTPS.
