Capture One 21 and 22 Wont Launch on New PC
i deactivated a license thinking this was the cause of installing C21 or C22 on a new PC but to no avail. It will not launch, tried admin etc. Disabled anti-virus and firewall as well. Was this tested on a new PC machine before release???

Try an basic Windows uninstall/re-install.
If that doesn’t work try a more thorough uninstall as shown here:

I actually did a complete removal and reinstall, using revouninstaller then check all folders to make sure there was nothing left and the same thing wont launch. I have a license for 21 and for 22 and am not over licensed. It took almost a week to get a response from tech support on moving C1 to a new computer, now this

Also all other programs I set up on this new Win 11 Pro PC work fine like Affinity Photo, Portrait Pro, Photomatix etc.

I ran into this exact same issue (with the same error messages) a month or so back, it was very frustrating... the fix was to install the latest version of the Visual C++ Redistributable package from the Microsoft site. A quick Google search will find the download page for you.

Thanks but I tried this but did not work, perhaps I downloaded the wrong file? This is what I installed and what I have on the system at present. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Your x64 version looks to be different than mine (second from the bottom in your list) - my system has version 14.29.30135 - try updating your x64 version.
It's been awhile since I did this, but if I recall correctly the procedure was:
- uninstall Capture One
- install latest Visual C++ x64 version
- reboot
- reinstall Capture One
- reboot again
After all that, Capture One should launch for you.

Ok what I did was on the second last Visual C++ the 14.28.29325 was to select it and then go to change and repair then reinstalled C1 and it launched, you would think that when C1 installs from the get go it would check this and then go an install it if needed?

Yes, exactly - I also assumed that the C1 installer would have checked and installed the latest Visual C++ if it was required. The fact that it does not is baffling.
Glad to hear you got it working.
