Question on buying capture one

FirstName LastName

I have been using the trial and really like it.  I have two question before I buy.  First can I have the software on my laptop and on my deck top and is there a version for Canon 7D Mark II, do I have to get the Pro version?

    Both of these questions are answered on the Capture One website.

    1. You're allowed 2 activations that can be any combination of Mac and Windows machines.

    2. You need the Pro version for any Canon camera. That's actually a good thing, though, because the "for brand n" versions are pretty limited compared with the trial version you've been using, which is the same as the licensed Pro version.

    but yes, there is no brand version for Canon, so you need the Pro version

    Not true at all. They're functionally identical except for the range of cameras they support.
