Tethering PhaseOne P30+ to Mac with Thunderbolt 3 to FireWire Problems
So I have a very specific problem, I'm trying to connect my Hasselblad with P30+ Back to my MacBook Pro 21 with Thunderbolt 3 Ports via a TB3 to TB2 adapter then TB2 to FW800 adapter (both adapters original apple) daisy chain. Now every version of C1 since 14.0 was not working for me with firewire anyways even on my old macbook, so I now use Version 13 or CaptureOne 20. When I open the application, with the digital back set to battery power and without MemoryCard inside the computer and C1 recognizes the camera and the backpiece just fine with this wiered adapter daisy chain, BUT once I click the shutter on my camera it seems to go through but then the captured image seems to get lost in transit and the little orange ring that goes around the digital shutter button in C1 gets stuck, then when I go to close the app it gives me a prompt saying that the programm still is running a picture import from the digi back when the actual shutter click was 5mins ago. I'll try to attach some screenshots of whats going on. Hopefully someone here can help me. :)
see the orange bar that should go around the "button" to indicate the file transfer, its stuck as soon as I click the shutter, everything else works fine

I have the same setup. I could connect my back as usual year ago to my old iMac running c1 12 and Catalina. it worked fine. I haven't used the set up since. Yesterday I ordered the cables and adapters to try if I can get the camera attached to my new mbp. Ive heard that it doesn't work with newer OS than Catalina. Hopefully I will be able to try it out tomorrow. let you know if it get it to work.

Dear Linus, thank you for the answer, interesting that it worked with catalina and not with Monterey (as that is the OS I'm running). I'll also be looking into some other possible fixes, please let me know here what kind of bugs you run into when running your setup with Monterey and the Thunderbolt daisychain. I dont see Monterey as being so much different than Catalina, and the Camera connects fine, it's just that when I press the shutter it lags out during the picture transfer from the back to the computer.

Hey,
Tried today to connect the camera. it works perfect on my iMac (late 2012) c1 21, Catalina 10.15.7 fire wire 400 to 800 adapter to thunderbolt adapter.I also tried to connect it to my mbp (2019) c1 21, big sur 11.6 fire wire 400 to 800 adapter to thunderbolt adapter to usb-c this did not work at all. The computer froze and short there after the screen turned black and the computer powered off. I tried this two times with same result.
Saw that there is a firmware update for the back but dont think it will make any changes. think I just need to accept that its not possible to shoot tethered to the newer computer.
